Hi! We’re Stephanie Mayer, PT, DPT and Nicole Poppert, MS, OTR/L — experienced therapists with a combined 20+ years of working with older adults.

Over the years, we've seen far too many patients discharged too early—not because they were ready, but because their therapists were worried about exceeding the therapy cap, triggering audits, or struggling to justify continued care.

We created The Note Ninjas because we believe clinicians should never feel pressured to discharge patients prematurely. If skilled intervention is still medically necessary, and documented appropriately, we are legally and ethically allowed to continue treating—even without signs of progress.

Our mission is simple:
To teach PTs, OTs, and assistants how to write skilled, defensible documentation that supports continued care, protects your license, and helps your patients get what they truly need.
