It is the policy of the Innovative Treatments, Effortless Documentation Summit to disclose any financial and non-financial interests that the provider or instructors may have in a product, service, or topic discussed during the event. The Note Ninjas Summit hosts, Stephanie Mayer, PT, and Nicole Poppert, OTR/L, have a financial interest in this summit, as they are hosting the event and will receive proceeds from the sales of the Clinician's Power Pass.
Each invited speaker has provided individual disclosure statements regarding their financial and non-financial interests. Some speakers have relevant financial relationships, while others do not. Any disclosures will be stated at the beginning of each session where applicable.
The summit content is designed to be evidence-based and free of commercial bias, with the primary goal of providing high-quality professional development for clinicians.
Target Audience:
- The Innovative Treatments, Effortless Documentation Summit is designed for physical therapists (PTs) and occupational therapists (OTs) who work with older adults and are seeking to enhance their clinical skills and documentation efficiency.
- This summit is intended for clinicians at an intermediate learning level, meaning participants should have a foundational understanding of rehabilitation principles and are looking to deepen their knowledge with evidence-based treatment strategies, defensible documentation practices, and practical solutions for patient care.
- The content will focus on applicable interventions, modifications, and documentation techniques that support skilled therapy services, reimbursement, and improved patient outcomes.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will identify at least three evidence-based treatment strategies for older adults and describe how to integrate them into clinical practice.
- Participants will demonstrate defensible and efficient documentation practices by utilizing skilled language and interventions to support medical necessity and reimbursement.
- Participants will select appropriate interventions for common impairments and functional limitations to improve participation in daily activities and occupations.
- Participants will modify treatment plans by implementing progression, regression, and adaptive techniques to address varying patient abilities.
The Innovative Treatments, Effortless Documentation Summit is a three-day virtual continuing education event designed for physical and occupational therapy professionals working with older adults. This intermediate-level summit provides evidence-based treatment strategies, defensible documentation techniques, and practical solutions to enhance clinical effectiveness and streamline workflows.
Participants will gain knowledge from expert-led sessions covering interventions for common impairments, functional limitations, and activities of daily living (ADLs). Additionally, attendees will learn how to utilize skilled language and interventions to support reimbursement and defensibility in documentation.
The summit features pre-recorded educational sessions, real-world applications, and implementation strategies to ensure participants can immediately integrate learned concepts into their practice. Those who complete the summit will be eligible to earn 20 contact hours (2 CEUs), reinforcing their professional development while improving patient outcomes.
AOTA continuing education units (CEUs) and Contact Hours
- The Innovative Treatments, Effortless Documentation Summit has been approved for continuing education units (CEUs) for Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs).
- Participants who successfully complete the summit will be eligible to receive 2 CEUs in accordance with approval from the appropriate accrediting organizations.

Participants must complete the online registration form and submit payment, if applicable, to secure their spot. Upon successful registration, attendees will receive a confirmation email with event details and access instructions.

PD Activity Completion Requirements
To receive continuing education units (CEUs) for the Innovative Treatments, Effortless Documentation Summit, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Full Attendance: Participants must attend all registered sessions in full.
- Knowledge Assessment: At the conclusion of the summit, attendees must complete a comprehensive quiz covering key concepts from the sessions.
- Passing Score: A minimum score of 80% is required to pass the quiz and earn CEU certification.
- CEU Certificate Issuance: Upon successful completion of the quiz, participants will receive their CEU certificate via email within 7 days.
Participants who do not pass the quiz will have the opportunity to retake it once within 48 hours after the summit to achieve a passing score.
